Cotesbach landfill; I popped in here for a quick chat with Carl, which was fortunate as he found a juvenile Caspian Gull whilst I was there.
I did have a look here late afternoon but nothing of note was present.
Stanford reservoir. early evening visit, a Hobby flew over, 4 Common Sandpipers in the spillway, still plenty of Grey and Pied Wagtails there too. 4 Green Woodpeckers around the dam and field. A female Shoveler and Pochard present with the Mallard and Tufted Duck. 6 Common Tern including 1 juvenile, but not raise on this site. Mixed small flock of Swallow and Sand Martin passed by.
