Stanford Reservoir; A look here this afternoon produced a single Whooper Swan, asleep on the water. Movement of Whoopers had been noted through a number of locations in the Midlands this morning.
Three Shovelers, a female Goosander, plus the usual winter ducks.
A Great Egret was resting near the hide point, and a Grey Heron too.
A single Chiffchaff was seen, along with a Long-tailed Tit flock. A Few Redwings and Fieldfares were noted too.
