21st Jan - frost last night again. Mostly cloudy, slowiy warming to 6C, light NW

Willey; a check of paddock feed station and near fields mid morning.  Despite the cold weather still a low number of birds coming to the feed station.  A couple of Chaffinch and male Yellowhammer, three Greenfinch, 20 House Sparrows plus the common Tits.

On the fields a few Redwings, Fieldfares and two Mistle Thrushes.

Stanford Hall, pm . The White-fronted Geese could not be found, although they had been reported earlier.  Seven Moorhens, Wigeon, Mallard, two Mute Swans and Little Grebe were present.  A Nuthatch and Treecreeper were heard near the main gates.
