Brandon Marsh; afternoon.
Many of the peripheral marsh areas are very low in water or dry. The grassland/meadows are crisp brown, which is disappointing as insects, butterflies appear quite scarce.
Birds included a Little Egret, three Green Sandpipers, one Oystercatcher, c10 Teal, c 50 Lapwings, one, possibly two Hobbies, a male Sparrowhawk. Several Common terns and juvs still.
