I found two Whinchats this morning on the Hurls Furlong hedge, pretty active. A Lesser Whitethroat too. 20 Yellow Wagtails with the cattle.
Eleven Swallows on the telegraph wires at Parsons Close, a Willow Warbler in the hedgerow.
I popped in the afternoon and found a female/1W Redstart where the Whinchats were. The Whinchats had moved to the far side of the field and feeding actively.
Stanford reservoir; evening.
A good number of House and Sand martins feeding overhead, and a few Swallows.
Four Common Sandpipers and two Green Sandpipers on the mud at the overflow.
!7 Little grebes together.,
