The recent rain has brought the water up, meaning several islands had flooded leaving less for the Gulls to rest on making ring reading less likely.
Draycote Water; afternoon.
I wanted to see the Long-tailed Duck which had been present several days. I only managed distant views of it and then flushed by a fishing boat not to be found again, but plenty of places for it to have gone to.
The Great Northern Diver was showing well and the adult Black tern was still present.
