A Kestrel and Red Kite were hunting over the grass being picked up for silage.
Stanford Reservoir; afternoon.
A great find by Chris Hubbard today, a singing Marsh Warbler near the Leics reedbed. It was often heard singing, in the bushes right next to the path, but very difficult to see. A couple of brief views as it sat on the edge of the bush were enough to enable many species to be ruled out, and the song confirmed it.
A Little Grebe was near the dam, also two Mistle thrushes and a Hobby overhead.
