Lilbourne Meadows; morning
The pools are receding rapidly, so late Waders are looking increasingly unlikely, however, still plenty of water/mud for the regulars.
Lesser Whitethroat still singing. Min 5 Reed Bunting males singing.
First of year site Small Heath seen.
Southwick Wood; afternoon.
Visited here for the Nightingales, two maybe three were singing, never get tired of hearing it's song.
Other birds included a Cuckoo singing, plus Garden Warblers, Blackcaps, Chiffchaffs and Green Woodpecker.
