Pitsford Water; I decided to have a walk here today after lunch as I've not been this year. The dullness and wind wasn't good for insects, but still a nice selection of birds to see including a Oystercatcher, eclipse drake Wigeon, eclipse drake Red-crested Pochard, c 20 Lapwing, Common Tern and Black-headed Gulls feeding young, Little Egret and Grey Heron, Swifts, a Tree Sparrow on the feeder, singing Reed Bunting, Yellowhammer and Whitethroat.
There was a Tufted Duck with eight ducklings, distant photo below.
