Stanford reservoir; a rather Spring-like walk here this afternoon. The Stonechat pair were in their usual place. Then a Curlew flew in, calling, before leaving west, a sign of winter birds dispersing to breeding grounds maybe. A Bearded Tit was heard in the reed bed, but not seen, also four Reed Buntings were moving deep in the reeds. At least two Water Rail were calling in the reed bed.
The usual birds on the water, including five Goldeneye, a Grey Heron and Little Egret feeding too.
