Lilbourne Meadows; morning
I wasn't expecting too much today, but as soon as I arrived the wet meadows surprised me with a Grey Plover and three Curlew Sandpipers. Along with a Greenshank, two Oystercatchers, lapwing and Little Ringed Plover.
[since 2019 I've had 93 species at this site, including 18 species of wader.
Digiscoping conditions weren't good, but here's some record photos.
Stanford Reservoir; afternoon.
A passage of Blck terns was noted today through the Midlands and a single bird turned-up here.
Several Hobbies were hawking overhead too, Chris Hubbard had five.
