First thing male and female Redstarts still along the top fence/hedge line.
Still quite a few Swallows over the Sheep fields and around the village
Eyebrook res; afternoon.
With news of a Baird's Sandpiper showing this morning, I just had to go and have a look, having missed the last one locally.
It was showing well, a little distant and heat haze bu good views through the scope. Interesting size comparison to a Ringed Plover.
A little record video was taken
Also; a Cattle Egret, Garganey, two Ruff, two Ringed Plovers, two Pintail, 10+ Yellow Wagtails, two Whinchats, several Stonechats.
