17th Sept - mostly cloudy am, very early shower, brighter pm, breezy 15mph, southerly, warm pm 22C

Stanford Reservoir; a look this afternoon produced 5 Swallows, a single Sand Martin, a Hobby, 28 Shoveler again, 12 Teal, a few Gadwall, only 2 Wigeon, 20 Cormorants and single Grey Heron.  Warblers included a Blackcap, Whitethroat, Cetti’s and 2 Chiffchaff.  A single Jay today.

A Comma butterfly, several Dragonfly and Damselfly, including this migrant Hawker.
