Willey; just after lunch a Hobby was circling slowly overhead and catching insect prey.
Cotesbach landfill; late afternoon and the sandpit and landfill area were full of Gulls, but something spooked them and there was a mass exodus. On the water were Tufted Duck and Mallard and a Wigeon, my first record for here. a Green Sandpiper was feeding at one pool. Only a single Red Kite was seen.
