Yes, 19C for a while this pm. Temp records being broken over the UK again. One more day expected before normal (wet) westerly weather systems return.
Bitteswell area; A visit here after lunch to conduct the BTO winter bird survey, nothing spectacular to report. A Green Woodpecker was feeding on the ground in one field, a Great-spotted Woodpecker was heard drumming. Only a few Fieldfare and Redwing (<5 each) were found.
