27th Feb - sunny, light SW, 17C

Cottesbach landfill; a look here after lunch, a good number of Gulls but they seemed pretty lazy and very few coming and goings between the sandpit and landfill itself.
7 Red Kites were overhead, usual Teal, Shoveler and Mute Swans on the pools.

Stanford Reservoir; a beautiful afternoon continued, however the weather has not caused much new to show up. Still, it was nice to see a pair a Grey Wagtail, a Green Sandpiper and Kestrel near the dam.  50+ Shoveler, but only 4 Goldeneye were seen.  A Great White Egret flew around, eventually settling on the very far side.  I tried a photo but the heat haze and distance were not good, they are photogenic though.
