A sub-adult Caspian was showing well among the Gull flock.
Quite a few Mallard in today (21), Teal 29, Shoveler 2 and Tufted 29. Eight Red Kites over the tip.
Stanford reservoir;
Highlights were a Stonechat and c15 Goldfinch bird food crop in field near old hide. 4+ Reed Bunting in the ';orchard' area. Several Kestrels, a Sparrowhawk. A single Goosander flew over, 43 Goldeneye plus all the other usual duck species. on the feeder 4+ Tree Sparrow and a single Coal Tit.
Little Egret and grey Heron on the outlet river. A Green Woodpecker near the dam was calling.
