9th Dec - mostly sunny, mod NW, 9C

Eyebrooke reservoir; a look here this afternoon, plenty of the common winter duck, plus 3 male Pintails.  Waders included a small number of Golden Plover, plenty of Lapwing, 2 Ruff, 3 Dunlin and a Redshank.

A single Little Egret was feeding along the inlet brook, a female Kestrel was hunting over the rough pasture.
