A single Great White Egret was looking for food in the main reed bed, later a Littler Egret was in similar area.  A Green Sandpiper was on the dam.  The usual Ducks, including 17 Goldeneye counted, 2 Teal and 6 Wigeon.
A Great spotted Woodpecker was drumming, Black and Chiffchaffs were singing, plus a Cetti's.  A Water Rail was heard in the reed bed.  At dusk 4 Fieldfare were roosting in the waterside bushes and a Tawny Owl was calling from the New Covert.
