7th Sept - sunny spells, 10C, light northerly

Willey; early morning a Yellow Wagtail flew over SSW, low and calling.  Still plenty of Swallows around the fields as yesterday.
I placed a camera in an orchard last night to see what is eating the fallen plums, a Hedgehog was caught on camera.

Cotesbach Landfill; a early look in to the sandpit area, nothing new, similar birds as yesterday, although the 6 Little Grebe were on show today.

Shawell Lagoons; I spent some time here after lunch, particularly to check the Gulls out, fortunately Carl was there too and he had already picked out some first winter Yellow-legged Gulls form their moult.  A few Gull colour rings were also read, some had been seen here in previous years.  Carl also spotted a Yellow Wagtail that landed on the mud.
