Stanford Reservoir; a look here after lunch, All the usual Duck, nothing new. A Grey Heron was stalking in the Reed bed, I canned the Reed bed a lot as a possible Bittern was reported a few days ago. A single Little Grebe in the main bay.
It was good to 6 Bullfinches feeding together. A Kestrel was hunting. Winter Thrushes were scarce today, only one Fieldfare. A Green Woodpecker called near the dam.
I have seen an increase in Mole activity now the land is drying out and is relatively mild, like this Mole that went across a field, last night, then took a sharp left.
