17th April - sunny spells, cloud increasing light rain early evening, mod NE, 13C

Willey; a look around Green and Pen lanes did not produce much at all.
Nuthatches are still noisy in the Long Spinney at 2 or 3 locations. The Green Woodpecker was heard throughout the day around the village. The Goldcrest was singing in the Yews again.

Still no new arrival of more Swallows, soon no doubt.
