Willey; first Swallow of the year seen flying over the arable field off Green Lane. More Linnets around this area this morning.
Bittesby - mere lane lake area. A walk over here this afternoon, Red-legged Partridge heard, a small of of 11 Linnets flew up, Little Grebe 'trilling', Mallard pair and a few Coot on the lake, Mute Swan on nest still. Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Goldcrest singing in thickets. Stock Dove pair in display flight over field hedgerow.
Near Bittesby House a Bullfinch pair was seen in the hedgerow.
