Willey; this brisk wind is definitely keeping some birds in low profile with little new to report. There does seem to be a few more Swallows around the village today, which is good to see. The Green Woodpecker is still pretty noisy around the immediate village area.
Cotesbach Landfill; a walk passed here early evening. The Shelduck pair were present and 7 Shoveler. I was surprised to see 5 Pochard though. A Grey Heron dropped in and two Common Sandpipers were preening on a spilt. House Martins, Swallows and Sand Martins were all feeding over the water.
