Stanford reservoir; Afternoon. A drake Pintail, two Goldeneye, four Shoveler and female Goosander were new today, 20 Teal were present too. Six tree Sparrows were at the feeder.
I stayed for the Gull roost and Starlings that come to roost in the reed beds, difficult to know how many come, but 4000-6000 would not be unrealistic, possibly even more. Hopefully the pictures show the murmuration that occurs.
