Shawell sandpit/Landfill; late afternoon. Nine Yellow-legged Gulls seen, including a colour ringed bird, from Switzerland. 12+ Red Kites.
Stanford Reservoir, evening. Common Terns busy feeding chicks on the raft. A drake Pochard, juv Little Grebe, Gadwall ducklings doing well and all seem present so far.
C20 Swifts, Garden Warbler and Blackcap singing, Treecreepers heard.
