Unfortunately the fields a Quail was heard in this morning (Chris H) have been mown today, so no chance of it being around,.
Nothing new otherwise, a Common Sandpiper on the point and a Muntjac browsing on the leaves. Plus a female Brown Hawker Dragonfly resting in the warm sunshine.
