The yew trees and bushes around the Church and lane have been noticeably absent of Thrushes, and other birds of late. However today, two Mistle Thrushes were present and three Greenfinches. Now the winter thrushes are arriving no doubt we shall soon have them eating the berries.
Stanford reservoir; afternoon
A small number of Redwings in the bushes and a single Fieldfare. The four Red-crested Pochards still, a couple of Pintail off the point and two Green Sandpipers near the dam.
