The Black redstart spent ca minute on the roof at 0700h, before flying off, again could not be relocated.
1100h, a Red Kite circling over the fields to the east of village.
As it was rather a dull evening I decided to stake out the yard area at 2000h, in fact the Black Redstart was already sitting on the shed door. Very gingerly and peeking over a car I snapped some record shots, over exposed, but better than nothing! It disappeared in to the shed to roost again.
Lilbourne Meadows; evening
Fairly quiet, but a Snipe feeding was a surprise. Also a single Teal, two Gadwall, c20 lapwing, several Stock Doves and a Kestrel.
