The ringers caught a Barred Warbler and visitor spotted a Bittern this morning - amazing.
Along the entrance drive a Tit and Warbler flock working the bushes, including a Spotted Flycatcher.
The juv Ruff was still present on the dam, busily feeding, also a Shoveler and Grey Wagtail. Quite a few House Martins and Swallows feeding around, a Sparrowhawk flew along the edge tree line.
I also saw a Red-Underwing, on the Ringers gazebo, on the railway track be the rear entrance gate.
Hornets have built a nest in a 'nest box', which quite a frequent event.
Shawell Sandpit; evening
The Ferruginous Duck was present and resting on the water, mostly having a nap.
