1st November - cloudy am, sunny spells pm, mod-fresh SW, easing later, 14C

Willey;

First thing c30 Fieldfares and a few Redwings on the top fields to the east, also several flocks of Starlings, presumably migrants in.

Mid-morning both Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers around the village area, 2 Greenfinch, a Mistle Thrush and a few Redwing visiting Church Yews.

Shawell sandpit/landfill; morning

17 Gadwall, 4 Shoveler, 8 Teal.  Six Egyptian Geese flew in, a family group with four of them being juvs.

12+ Red Kites, several Ravens and c250 Starlings over the landfill area.

Lilbourne Meadows; afternoon.

A single Stonechat was found, but mostly in the low in the vegetation.
12 Linnets, a hunting Kestrel.

At the island pond 55 Wigeon, Teal 6, Mute 3 and 26 Canada Geese.

A Curlew flew in, almost certainly the same bird as I've seen previously, although not that recently by myself.
