With winter just around the corner it is close to the time for a 'white-winger', although very few have been reported elsewhere in the country so =far this autumn. However, there has to be a first sometime, well fingers crossed.
170+ Great Black-backed Gulls, although numbers of other Gulls were comparatively low today.
35 Red Kites present, mainly over the land fill area. Plus Ravens around.
75 Teal, c 10 gadwall a drake Pochard, two drake Shovelers, a few Mallard and Tufted Ducks.
Little Grebe numbers seemed lower than of late.
