I noticed c50 Starlings coming onto the Church Lane hedge, they were devouring Sloes as fast as they could.
In the Church Yard hedge near the Yew trees a male Blackcap seemed to be enjoying the warmth from the sunshine. A few Redwings were coming and going to the Yew trees for berries.
Draycote Water; afternoon.
I had hoped to see the Red-breasted Mergansers, but they were difficult to find.
Five each Goldeneye and Goosanders were spotted, otherwise plenty of the other expected ducks. Cormorant numbers seemed quiet large, although I have no comparative count data, but I expected the low water has something to do with it.
A flock of c20 Linnets were present, looked like they were going to roost near the park area.
