A singing Lesser Whitethroat this morning near Hurls Furlong pond in hedge, heard previously here.
when picking a lettuce for tea I noticed this month happy resting on it, yet to name it.
Lilbourne Meadows; evening. Eight Green Sandpipers on the wet meadows. A Little Egret and two Grey Herons.
A5 Pools/DIRFT; three Little Egrets, several Linnets and three Goldfinch.
Shawell sandpit; a drake Teal (another sign the natural seasons are moving on), a Little Egret (don't get too many in the sandpit). Several Red Kites and Buzzards.
