Husbands Bosworth Sand pit; c25 Lapwings and nine Little Grebes were of note.
Soar Brook Lake; late afternoon.
Tufted duck family still (six ducklings), three Cormorants, Great Spotted Woodpecker, five Goldfinches, generally little else about.
A5 Pools/DIRFT; early evening.
Four Little Ringed Plovers, five Littlke Egrets and a Grey Heron, a few Lapwings and c 10 Linnets.
