Highlights were, Great Egret, Kingfisher, a Little Egret, the 14 Red-crested Pochards still, drake Goldeneye, 20 Pochard, 11 Little Grebes, two Ravens,
Shawell; late afternoon.
Checked the Starling roost which is building. No murmurations flying low and fast direct to roost. In order to estimate the number a number of photographs taken which will be counted to get the final estimated number.
