4th March - cloud and mist only slowly clearing, a few sunny intervals pm, a chilly night, only warming to 11C by end of afternoon.

Willey; morning.

Several Greenfinches in the Church Yews and lane hedge, also 5 Goldfinches.  The now daily Red Kite over.
A Song Thrush singing a lot now. Green Woodpecker heard.

Stanford-on-Avon, afternoon.

23 White-fronts counted, but sure others were out of view in the field dips.
Three Mistle Thrushes feeding too.

Stanford reservoir.

Rather quiet.  A pair Grey Wagtails and a Pied Wagtail on the dam.
Five Goldeneyes seen (3 drakes), plenty of Wigeon on the water.
