19th July - high cloud, suny spells, hot, 26C, humid, very light breeze

Willey; about 1600h 2 Raven flew towards the Sheep fields, calling a lot.

Cotesbach landfill; in the quarry area early afternoon a Common and Green Sandpiper, 6 Red Kite.  In the evening a juvenile Little-ringed Plover.

Stanford reservoir; early evening a single juvenile Little-ringed Plover again on the dam, at least 12 Grey Wagtails and a few Pied Wagtails on the grassy side - probably 2-3 families of the former species.  Generally otherwise quite, a Hare was cleaning itself on the track. A Buzzard was on the shore line, walking after food, probably insects.
