Shawell sandpit/landfill; late afternoon. 18 Red Kites, three Common Sandpipers, Five Shelducks, four Gadwall and two Little grebes were the highlights. Only a couple of Sand Martins and single Swift seen.
Two Foxes were on the prowl - must have cubs close-by.
