2nd May - high cloud, light/still/16C

A5 Pools/DIRFT 3; morning.  A bar-tailed godwit was busy feeding, a few distant record photos.

Misterton; plenty of the common woodland species present, Goldcrests seemed quite numerous today.

Brandon Marsh; afternoon.  a look here this afternoon. Sightings included the following, on the pools the usual birds, including Lapwings, Oystercatcher, Little Ringed Plovers and two Ringed Plovers, Gadwall, Teal.  

Plenty of Sedge and Reed Warblers, a Whitethroat, Blackcap and three Garden Warblers heard singing. One Cuckoo was calling. A pair of Ravens were often seen over the area.  A Green Woodpecker frequently called.
