Stanford reservoir; afternoon. hopes of Terns dropping in during the showers were dashed. A Common Sandpiper on the dam and six Yellow Wagtails in the spillway area. A mixed flock of Swallows, House Martins, Sand Martins and four Swifts were busy feeding.
A5 Pools/DIRFT; evening. a Dunlin and two Ringed Plovers here, with the resident water birds.
Lilbourne Meadows; Wood Sandpiper still present and a Greenshank.
