Shawell lagoons; a look first thing, 3 Snipe just showing in the reed bed, 2 Cormorants, a single Wigeon, 35 Lapwings and 9 Teal, plus a number of usual Gulls.
Cotesbach landfill; plenty of Gulls sitting near the tipping site, but nothing special noted. No Red Kites either, not ideal weather for Kite-flying. Otherwise the usual mix of duck was present.
