The highlights were an adult Iceland and juv Glaucous Gull found by Carl, fortunately they stayed on show until I got there. Also several Caspian Gulls.

30th Dec - fog lingered until midday, then sunny, 8C, light SW
Cotesbach landfill; tipping was underway today and this attracted hundreds of Gulls, the smell of food probably very tempting after several days of no tipping.
The highlights were an adult Iceland and juv Glaucous Gull found by Carl, fortunately they stayed on show until I got there. Also several Caspian Gulls.
