A weather change from the recent dry, hot and dry late summer spell to autumn weather just to let us know we've just past the equinox.
Cotesbach landfill; a look later afternoon. A new bird here for me a female/juv Ruff, didn't stay too long once spotted. A Green Sandpiper was also present, Otherwise similar birds a seen recently here.
In the evening at least 30 Stock Doves flew in to roost, settling in the spinney.
