26th Jan - cloudy, murky, light rain at times, very slow thaw during the day, light S pm, 3C

Willey; A check of the feed station mid-pm.  A couple of Great Spotted Woodpeckers, and another calling nearby.  Four Greenfinch, c20 House Sparrows, a single Tree Sparrow was back, a male Yellowhammer, seven Long-tailed Tits on the fat balls and three Starlings.  Eight+ Blue Tits, Great Tits and a single Coal Tit.

Usually by the late January I have about 6-8 Tree Sparrows, with numbers building during February - hopefully some more will show up in the coming weeks.
