Shawell Sandpit/Landfill; morning.
No Goldeneye today.
A Green Sandpiper was present preening and washing. A single Cormorant, four Pochards, plus the other usual ducks. 38 Lapwings on the south pit shore.
A Sparrowhawk sat on the side of a works tower eyeing up potential prey. Again on ly a couple of Red Kites, due to the mist.
Green Woodpecker again, a few Redwings and a couple of Fieldfares.
