Very much similar to last visit, a Great-crested Grebe was new. Five Shovelers, 28 Gadwall, plenty of Teal. c10 Red Kites several Ravens.
Blatherwyke Lake; afternoon.
What a great lake and area, never been before.
A Tundra Bean Goose has been re[ported for a couple of days, so not having seen one for a few years, I decided to have a look. However, I could not find it among the Greylags, but quite a few had moved off to nearby fields, so possibly it was with them.
There was 12 White-fronted Geese present here, very close to the viewing lane side.
A nice collection of other birds including Lapwings, Wigeon, Pochard, Tufted, Mallard, 3 Goosanders, 15 Little Grebes, Gadwall (one drake had a white-head!), Shoveler, Little Egret, Red Kites and Buzzard.
