Cotesbach landfill; this afternoon I met up with Carl for some Gull watching. There were plenty of Gulls, mostly Lesser-black Backed, smaller numbers of Herring, a couple of Black-headed and several Yellow-Legged Gulls.
Most surprisingly was the number of Red Kites, in the past we have seen a max of 3, but today I could see 10 and Carl had counted 14 earlier - amazing for this area.
I visited another location with Carl to check out the Peregrine pair, they were still present and likely nesting.
A Common Darter was also here dashing about.
Willey; A spotted this rabbit sitting in the field near the footpath, a risky life for it as the Foxes like the area it was feeding in.
