10th April - rain all night again, until late morning then cloudy, light NE, 9C

Willey; a Mistle Thrush was singing from the trees near Parsons Close. At least 4 Tree Sparrows were at my feed station mid-morning.  About 1345h my first 2018 Yellow Wagtail flew over calling.  Collard Doves are displaying, 4 flew passed me, not quite sure where they are all nesting in the village.

Stanford Reservoir.  The afternoon was gloom and misty, with little about or bird some, though Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Willow Warbler plus residents were trying at times.  Only 5 Wigeon on the water today and less Gadwall about too.

Warmer and sunny weather is forecast for after the weekend, we need it.
