9th April - foggy first thing, cloudy morning, light rain pm, light NE, 9C

Willey; at lunch time the Red-legged Partridge pair were on the lawn again feeding under the bird feeders.
Blackcap and Chiffchaff were singing this morning, numbers have definately increased over the alst couple of days.

Stanford reservoir; in the rain things weren't ideal but a quick look from the dam was in order.  A nice hirundine flock again over the water.  Only 8 Wigeon, and less Goldeneye were apparent, a new bird was a drake Red-crested Pochard that spent its time asleep.
I checked the fungi again, most had gone over, but one remained and I managed a better photo with the digital camera today.
